Graduation 2020
Scott County Public Schools is excited to honor their 2020 graduates. In consultation with the Virginia Department of Health, each High School will develop a plan for a traditional graduation ceremony that will include social distancing measures. It is our hope that Graduates will be allowed to bring up to 6 guests to the ceremony, which will be held outside at each school’s football stadium. More details will be released once the plans are finalized and once it becomes clear of the Governor’s order as of our graduation date and times, which are as follows:
Graduation Date and Times
July 9th: Twin Spring High
July 10th: Gate City High
July 11th: Rye Cove High
- All ceremonies will be at 7pm.
- Because all ceremonies must be outdoor with social distancing, rain dates will be scheduled for July 16th, July 17th, and July 18th.
